Aitkin Public Schools Superintendent Stifter talks testing

(Aitkin, MN) — Coming off a week of State testing for the Aitkin Public School District, Superintendent Dan Stifter returned for his monthly conversation to talk about the information the District receives from the testing and how that pertains to some of their bigger goals.

Superintendent Dan Stifter mentioned that testing occurs for all levels and how families are made aware of the strain it may cause for students.

Results from the MCA testing lets the District know of the stronger areas of retention for students, programs, and areas to address.

Stifter did say Aitkin Public Schools does stand above many of the other area schools.

 Attendance has also seen consistent high rates with students being asked in a recent survey.
