Aitkin City Council meeting from June 20th
(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin City Council held a public hearing on Approving Issuance and Sale of Healthcare revenue for the Riverwood Healthcare construction project from the Community Room of Aitkin Public Library on Monday.
During the Public Hearing, a Riverwood representative spoke to the Council on a recent financial audit that benefited this project moving forward.
The public hearing was closed and approval of the issuance and sale of Healthcare revenue was given by the Council.
City Administrator Mike Skribch gave an update on the city’s plans for replacing the roof for the Aitkin Fire and Police Departments.
Skrbich also spoke about the cost of mosquito spraying for the City.
Into New Business, Skrbich presented a resolution of removing the Fire Relief Association from the City Insurance Policy.
The resolution was approved by the Council.
