131st Aitkin County Fair opens this week

(Aitkin, MN) — The 131st Aitkin County Fair gets underway this week with a few added attractions that come off adjustments to longstanding features of the Fairgrounds that were damaged in spring storms.
Aitkin County Fair Board member Kirk Peysar about making the necessary adjustments of moving exhibitors to other spaces with one of the buildings being destroyed by storms earlier this spring.
Of the Free Stage space now open to entertainment, a return of a popular cover band will open Wednesday night.
The Free stage will be plenty busy for the whole Fair.
The Grandstand will also be active with some flight changes to the schedule.
Baja Rally Races will be Friday night and the Mud Rhythm Mega Trucks Races are Saturday in the Grandstand. Other activities for Open Class judging and 4-H events will also fill out the weekend of the Aitkin County Fair.
