Lake Park-Audubon School Board News & Notes
Lake Park, MN — More News & Notes from this past week’s Lake Park-Audubon School Board meeting held on Monday, June 27th. At the meeting, Lake Park-Audubon Superintendent Dr. Tim Godfrey reported on some security updates happening at the high school this summer. He notes that the elementary will upgrade their security during their facility renovation during the next year.
The LPA School Board also approved their preliminary 2022-2023 budget and Dr. Godfrey was happy to report that the financial situation of the district remains very strong.
Under staffing items, the board approved the Principal’s Contracts and Godfrey notes that they are still looking to hire for a few positions.
And the high school building remains very busy this summer. Summer school just wrapped up and Godfrey says there are a number of unique summer recreational opportunities for students to participate in.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board also approved insurance quotes and approved their annual Long-Term Facilities Maintenance Plan.
