Crow Wing County Sheriff recaps busy 4th of July

(Brainerd, MN) — One week removed from an active Fourth of July holiday of enforcement on Crow Wing County roads, waters, and in parades, Sheriff Scott Goddard recapped the events that have led to a busy first half of Summer 2022.

Sheriff Goddard first gave praise to the numerous Lakes Area visitors on their common sense in being smart and safe.

With increased visitors for holidays and throughout the Summer, Sheriff Goddard did speak about staffing for increased traffic in all aspects.

With the potential of 200- to 300,000 visitors just from the Fourth of July weekend, the amount of visitors has been a welcomed sight in recent years.

Sheriff Goddard also mentioned the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office will continue to be busy.
