The Fosston Greyhounds outscored the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears 44-18 in the second half and won 71-33 Friday night at Clearbrook-Gonvick. Zach Theis led the Greyhounds with 16 points as the Greyhounds end the regular season at 22-5. Carsen Boushee added 13 points and Darren Skala 10 points for Fosston. Logan Westrum led the Bears with 12 points as Clearbrook-Gonvick ends the regular season at 8-18. The game was close early with a 10-10 tie but Fosston closed the first half on a 13-2 run and led 27-15 at halftime. The two teams combined for 15 three pointers with Carsen Boushee and Hudson Boushee of the Greyhounds each connecting on three triples and Logan Westrum hitting three 3’s for the Bears. Both teams will enter postseason play next week. Fosston won the “B” Squad game 73-36 and end their season with a record of 24-2.
