Ada-Borup-West defeated East Grand Forks Sacred Heart 49-35 in a physical contest.  Ada-Borup-West never trailed in the game, there was one tie (21-21) and the Cougars leading 24-23 at halftime.  The second half began much like the first half with the Cougars scoring the first six points and a seven point lead,30-23. The visiting Eagles could not get the deficit any closer as the Cougar defense limited the Eagles to four field goals in the second half.
