Ada-Borup-West had a quick start in the road game at Crookston Tuesday night, however, the Pirates took the victory on their homecourt giving the Cougars their fifth consecutive loss, now 4-11.  Crookston is 9-6 after the non conference, non section game victory.   Leading  by 10 at the half, the Pirates scored the first 8 points of the second half for the 18 point lead. The Cougars pulled within 6 points at 39-33 with their own second half surge but could get no closer in a game with the two teams combining for only 25 total turnovers.
