Isle City Council meeting from August 16th
(Isle, MN) — The Isle City Council meeting from Tuesday, August 18th included more talks on short term rental properties, amendments to the sewer and water ordinances, and updates from the City Engineer on numerous projects.
We chatted with Isle City Clerk Jamie Hubbell on presentation from Naomi Creech concerning AirbBnB and VRBOs.
Following the approval of another short term rental property on Main Street, the Council had first readings to amendments of the Sewer and Water Ordinances and the corresponding rates and fees.
Department reports included a lengthy update from the City Engineer on the numerous projects around the City of Isle.
The Council will be working on filling out the paperwork for a USDA Subsequent Loan and the Water & Sewer Grant Agreement. A Property Abatement was avoided during the meeting and a variance application from Family Dollar was approved, while donations were graciously accepted by the Council.
