Aitkin Superintendent speaks at August 15th School Board meeting

(Aitkin, MN) — During the Aitkin School Board’s regular meeting from August 15th, Superintendent Dan Stifter spoke on the beginning of the 2022-23 School Year, broadband connectivity, the Curriculum Review Plan and other topics from the High School Media Center.

Superintendent Stifter spoke of the need for crucial staff positions that remain open with school starting in a few weeks.

Stifter did also reiterate the basis of keeping up to date on COVID-19 Preparedness plans for the District in the event that the pandemic should worsen.

CTC is also finishing up the installation of internet based phones and being the District’s internet service provider.

Superintendent Stifter also presented to the Board a list of questions for community members to join the Curriculum Review Committee.

The Aitkin Public School Board is scheduled to meet on Monday, August 29th for a Work Session meeting at 6:30pm from the High School Media Center.
