Everyone is welcome to experience haunted thrills and chills as they walk 1.5 miles of terrifying trails in the dark woods of the Northland Arboretum on the scariest evenings of the year–Thursday, Oct. 20, through Saturday, Oct. 22.

The nights will be full of special effects, spooks, thrills, and chills as nearly 200 costumed volunteers stage scary scenes performed along the trail. There are both low scare and high scare options. Brand new themes this year include Alice in Wonderland, Day of the Dead, Star Wars, and an intense high scare section guaranteed to make screams extreme.

Finger flashlights, glow necklaces, and T-shirts will be sold at the entrance. The trail ends with games, treats, and concessions.

Haunted Trail tickets are $17 in advance at northlandarb.org or the Arboretum’s Visitor Center at 14250 Conservation Drive in Brainerd. Tickets at the gate are $20 and a fast pass is also available for $25. The fee includes all three trails.

For 20 years, the Arboretum, a non-profit, member-funded organization, has offered the spooktacular event that encourages getting outdoors as its major fundraising event. For more information, visit northlandarb.org or call 218-829-8770.
