Crash Involving Car and Beet Truck Wednesday East of Ada

Ada, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol has released more information regarding an accident involving a beet truck and a passenger car near Ada on Wednesday. According to the report, a 2005 Honda Civic driven by 29-year-old Rachael Ford of Twin Valley was eastbound on Highway 200 approximately 3 miles east of Ada when she swerved right to miss a turning semi-truck. The car went into the ditch and crashed. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at Essentia Health in Ada. The truck, a 1994 semi-truck and trailer, was driven by 35-year-old Nathan Hemmingson of Gary. He was not injured. The Norman County Sheriff’s Office, Ada Police, and Norman County Ambulance assisted on scene.
