TRADITIONAL OJIBWE WIGWAM BUILDING EVENT CANCELLED

PALISADE, MINN. – November 16, 2022 – Due to circumstances outside of its control, Long Lake Conservation Center has canceled the Traditional Ojibwe Wigwam Building Event scheduled for Saturday, December 3.

Long Lake’s cultural partner, Migiziwaadiswan Ojibwe Cultural Learning Center had unexpected circumstances arise making their participation impossible, necessitating the cancellation, Long Lake Manager Dave McMillan said.

“They are as disappointed as we are,” McMillan said. “We are working on new and exciting cultural and nature-based events, and look forward to sharing those with you. Stay tuned!”
