Norman County Sheriff Ben Fall Gives Updates of the Department
Ada, MN — It’s been about a month and half since Ben Fall was appointed as the Norman County Sheriff, and he joined us this week on the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program to talk about the ongoing transition and priorities moving forward to the department. One of his biggest goals to start has been working towards getting the department fully staffed. Sheriff Fall says they are still looking to fill two full-time deputy positions, but he has moved forward in appointing Matt Wagner as the new Chief Deputy.
The Norman County Sheriff’s Office was able to fill a full time and part time dispatch position recently as well. Fall adds that they are also working on providing a more suitable office space for the dispatchers to work in and improving radio communication in the county.
And after losing their K-9 Officer and dog this past year, Sheriff Fall has stated that a goal for the department is to get a K-9 unit back on the squad.
