UPDATE: Garden Valley Telephone Lines Back Up and Running Throughout Entire Coverage Area
UPDATE 5:01 p.m. – Update from Garden Valley as of 5:01 p.m.
“As of 5:01pm the A-links are back up and all calling should be working like it should.”
UPDATE 4:28 p.m. – Update from Garden Valley as of 4:28 p.m. “
“We just received an update from Zayo, the carrier that handles the A-links associated with this outage, that they have a confirmed fiber cut in the Twin Cities area that has caused the outage for our service area. Crews are working as quickly as possible to restore service.”
UPDATE 3:30 p.m. – R&J News has received an update from Garden Valley regarding the telephone lines outage throughout the Garden Valley coverage area.
According to Garden Valley Officials, “We have lost both A-Links to the Meta Switch, which handles all call setup for calls in and out of the switch. We have a ticket open with Sinch and they are thinking it may be a fiber cut. We are working with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”

As of 2:40 p.m. Thursday April 13th, all telephone lines throughout the Garden Valley Coverage area are down meaning there are no outgoing or incoming calls.
