MN Statewide Tornado Drill

Severe Weather Awareness Week continues in Minnesota.  Today’s (Thursday) the emphasis is on tornadoes with a statewide tornado drill taking place.  Jim Kaiser, warning coordinating meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, talks about the tornado drill.

Again, there will be two tornado drills in Minnesota today.  You’ll hear the sirens go off at 1:45 pm and again at 6:45 pm.  Severe Weather Awareness Week concludes Friday with a talk about extreme heat.
