Staying safe on the water

With the warm temperatures here to stay, more and more boats are going to be on the water, so it’s important to stay safe. Sgt. Chet Carlson and Inv. Tom Brault of the Polk County Sheriff’s department joined Tom Lano on KKCQ’s Food for Thought to discuss boating safety this summer.

They also discussed safety on larger boats like pontoons.

Finally, they talked about other safety precautions you can take on the water.
