Border Patrol Seize $6 Million in Cocaine at Emerson Point of Entry 

Officials say that on July 14 Canadian Border Officials seized approximately 140 pounds of cocaine worth an estimated $6 million in a cargo truck seeking to enter North Dakota at the Emerson Point of Entry just North of Pembina, North Dakota. According to Canadian Officials this marks the largest narcotics seizure Manitoba has seen at a port of entry in at least five years. Officials also say that a 31 year old Winnipeg man has been arrested and released on drug trafficking charges.
