Ada Borup West approves proposed levy for 2026
The School Budget and enrollment was a topic of discussion at the Ada Borup West School Board meeting meeting on Tuesday morning. Ada Borup West Superintendent Aaron Cook says there’s currently no surprises to report in their upcoming budget, and that enrollment has taken a dip from last year.
Cook says the school board also took the next step in setting a levy for 2026.
The Ada Borup West School Board also heard an update from their School Resource Officer Alex Saric, and Cook says they were able to secure a grant that will expand radio communications capabilities on school grounds.
Lastly, Cook is happy to announce that the district was able to reach an agreement with their teachers union, ahead of the start of the school year.
Other agenda items included staff hirings and lane changes, administrative reports, and the approval of the board’s 2025/2026 goals.
