Ada Borup West Science Department holds weather balloon demonstration
The Ada Borup West Science Department had the opportunity to work alongside the University of Alabama Huntsville in a weather experiment on Tuesday morning. Ada Borup West Science Teacher Elizabeth Cakebread tells us more.
Abigail Herrin from the University of Alabama Huntsville tells us more about the experiment itself, and what kind of data they are gathering from the weather balloon.
The temperatures were chilly on Tuesday morning, and Harrin says Tuesday’s launch was the coldest they’ve ever done, which means they may also get some unique date.
Cakebread tells us more about this program through the University of Alabama Huntsville and the work that’s done behind the scenes in order to get the team to Ada for this experiment.
