Ada Borup West sending pair of Students to State Speech Competition

Ada Borup West Seniors Nellie Todd and Kaydence Thom had the opportunity to compete in the section speech competition in Fosston on Tuesday, and returned with some good news. Kaydence Thom tells us more. 

Nellie Todd tells us more about the script they’re presenting as a part of the Duo Interpretation division of state speech.  

Thom tells us what she’s looking forward to most about the state competition, as well as what she hopes to accomplish. 

Todd explains what the key to a good speech is, and why you should get involved in speech if you have the ability to. 

The 2026 Minnesota State Speech Contest will be held at the Park Center High School on April 24 and 125.
