Severe Weather Awareness Week–Tornado Drills Thursday

Minnesota’s Severe Weather Awareness Week continues today with the Statewide Tornado Drills.  Every county in Minnesota will participate in the drill.  Norman County Emergency Management Director Garry Johanson has details.

Johanson says the key to these tornado drills is preparing what you would do if there was an actual tornado warning.

As Johanson said, there are two tornado drills today: at 1:45 and 6:45pm.  Each drill will last 15 minutes.  There won’t be an all clear signal.
