Ada Borup West SRO Update

School resource officers have a number of different roles, whether it’s being an outlet for students, responding to situations, education, or assisting staff members, but at the Ada Borup West School, another role the SRO plays is that they also oversee the ALICE emergency response program. Ada Borup West SRO Alex Saric tells us more about this program.

One of the biggest parts of ALICE is lockdown preparedness, and Saric says they cover a number of different lockdown responses.

We’re around a quarter of the way through the school year already, and Saric says things are going well in year three of the SRO program.

Again, people with questions regarding ALICE or the SRO program can contact Officer Saric at the Ada Borup West School or Ada Police Department.
