Ada City Council filing period open Tuesday 

The 2026 election is a big one for the City of Ada, as multiple seats are up for election this November. Ada City Council Members Shawn Roux and Tom Opheim encourage anyone interested to file for office, as the filing period opens tomorrow. (Tuesday) 

The pair says public office is a great way to give back to the community and have your voice heard. 

If you would like to start out slowly in public office, Roux says there are also opportunities available to serve on a committee.
