The Ada city council met tuesday night in regular session. City administrator Ashley Larson shared news of brickwork issues with a common building wall shared by Mccollum Hardware and the Ada Liquor Store. After discussion, the council agreed to do the repairs as  soon as possible at a cost of $11,000 ( eleven thousand dollars)  of which the city and Mccollum Hardware will share equally at $5500. Ada Mayor John Hintz shares more.

Blight was a lengthy discussion at the Tuesday night ada city council meeting.  The council has been working with the owner of the trailer court and reports progress being made. Ada Police sent out twenty two blight letters prior to clean up week last week. One property was of specific conversation with a local citizen coming before the council to share concerns and asking what can be done with a property that has been of topic for over a year. Ada mayor John Hintz talks more with R&J News about this discussion.

R & J News asked Mayor Hintz about a frustration level because the City of Ada has done what they can do and are now hoping for more help from others.
