Ada City Council Sets Preliminary levy and budget
The Ada City Council approved a preliminary budget, and levy at their meeting on Tuesday night. Ada City Administrator Ashley Larson tells us what these were set at, and what this means moving forward.
Larson says the council was also given an update on the latest on the Ada Public Works building project.
2026 is a big year for the City of Ada, as the city will be celebrating its 150th Anniversary. Larson says that they will be having a meeting on September 24 to begin the planning process, and she encourages all local organizations and community members to attend.
In other city news, Larson says the city recently had a meeting with their city engineer from Moore Engineering, and future street and sewer projects were discussed.
The Ada City Council will meet next on Tuesday, October 14.
