Ada City Council Sets Spring Clean Up; Discusses Dekko Maintenance Needs
Ada, MN — The Ada City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday night, March 7th at the Council Chambers. At the meeting, the council discussed the annual spring city-wide clean up with Al’s Disposal. Ada City Administrator Ashley Larson says plans are in place for the first week in May.
To keep things moving forward with the upcoming sewer project, the council also approved a contract this week with their engineer, Moore Engineering, according to Larson.
And Dekko Director Brianna Eggen provided a report at the meeting on some facility updates. The hot tub is currently down and may be on its last leg. Larson says they had some preliminary discussion about a complete replacement.
The Ada City Council did approve purchasing new steps for the Dekko Pool at a price of $6400 and approved a donation of $500 to Ada-Borup-West Community Education.
Councilmembers Shawn Roux and Mike Nelson will join the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program this Thursday at 9am to further recap this week’s meeting.
