AELC Winterfest is this Sunday in Fertile
Fertile, MN — The Agassiz Environmental Learning Center in Fertile welcomes all to Winterfest this Sunday, February 5th from 1-5pm. This free event will feature fun outdoor activities, games, and educational information about nature and wildlife. Stacey Erickson with the City of Fertile says their Winterfest is a great way for families to learn more about the fun that can be had at the Learning Center, even in the dead of winter.
Visitors can try their hand at some unique winter games as well, including snow snake and smoosh races, according to Erickson.
Erickson adds that students from UMC will provide some opportunities to learn more about the winter wildlife at the Learning Center also.
Point Paradise Stables will be providing some horse-drawn wagon rides through the trails and there will also be prizes and refreshments. For more information, please contact Fertile City Hall at 218-945-3136.
