Aitkin County Board to meet Tuesday for first time in 2023

The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners holds their first regular meeting of the new year today at 9am in the Government center board room. The board will hear public comment and approve the consent agenda before moving on to other business. County Assessor Mike Dangers will schedule the county board of appeal and equalization. The refuge manager at Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge would like the board to approve a letter of support. Committee updates will follow. Then, Human Resources director Bobbie Danielson will cover the personnel committee recommendations and approve the pay equity report. County Administrator Jessica Seibert will finish with the round of resolutions before closing the session for labor negotiations.
