Aitkin County CARE hosting Dementia Caregivers Class on June 27th

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin County CARE will be gathering together for people who are dementia caregivers or those who know people suffering from the debilitating disease with a support group on June 27th.

We recently spoke with CARE Executive Director Lynne Jacobs about the class coming up with a partnership with a dementia specialist organization.

Jacobs noted the class will offer information on dementia while also opening the door for someone to be more open minded.

The dementia class is open to all and will give more perspective to the disease that can take away a person’s ability to perform simple tasks.
