Aitkin County CARE offering ‘change of season’ services, programs
(AItkin, MN) — The change to fall weather has everyone in the midst of preparing for the end of the year. Aitkin County CARE is informing their clients and those that may need assistance of the many good works and programs that they offer before the weather becomes too much to leave the house.
In our monthly conversation with CARE, we spoke to Program Director Mike Eisenbraun (i-zen-brawn) about their Meals on Wheels program serving hot meals within Aitkin city limits.
Frozen meals are also available for those in the greater Aitkin County area.
Chores services are also available to help finish up those year-end projects.
Companionship and interaction for the aging population is also crucial and is addressed through CARE’s “Grand Friends” program.
