Aitkin County Economic Development announces Child Care Provider Grant recipients

Aitkin County is proud to announce that we are awarding over $25,000 to Child Care Providers in our County. The grants are intended to help support efforts in increasing child care slots in our community.

Kendra Mickelson, Little Pine Academy, $10,000

Cheryl Kehn, Cheryl’s Kids and Company, $2,500

Jackie Scollard, Red Robin Childcare, $2,500

Sarah Hacker, Sarah’s Tiny Tots Daycare, $5,000

Elizabeth Johnson, Beth’s Home Daycare, $2,500

Sharon Rutz, Sharon’s Silly Face Daycare, $2,500
