Aitkin County Economic Development keeping grant funding opportunities open

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin County Economic Development in 2022 has been part of the establishing revitalization efforts for the communities and businesses they serve.

In a conversation we had with Economic Development Coordinator Mark Jeffers, he first noted they are working on establishing the “brand” of Aitkin County.

 With that message being put into place for Aitkin County, the Economic Development group has also been able to use Government funding for such needed elements including Child Care.

Other grant funding has been able to assist community projects to help attract more visitors through various means.

Grant funding is still available for the Community Grant with more in the work for the near future.
