(Aitkin, MN) — After hosting the “Kiss off Winter, Spring Dance Party” last weekend and comedian C Willi Myles coming Friday to the Butler Building in Aitkin, the Aitkin County Friends of the Arts are keeping up with shows and programs on a monthly basis.

We chatted with Christian McShane with the Friends of the Arts about the community’s response to the shows since the Ripplesippi Music Fest and Harvest Moon Brew Fest from last fall.

With events at relatively good cost, the proceeds go right to the Friends of the Arts to bring bigger entertainment and plan for the future.

McShane says the Butler Building and the Opera House on the top floor serves as a great venue for events but also has range to branch out.

Looking beyond C Willi Myles’ show on Friday, the Aitkin County Friends of the Arts has another musical talent coming to Aitkin.

The Summer will also be full of surprises and shows.

Tickets for the C Willi Myles Show are available at Block North Brew Pub, Gramma’s Pantry, Green Owl Gallery and online. The show is at 7:30pm from the Butler Building in Aitkin. Learn more about the Aitkin County Friends of the Arts on their website and Facebook.
