Aitkin County HHS meeting from Tuesday, March 28th

Aitkin County Health and Human Services met with the Board of Commissioners Tuesday.The Board approved appointments to the HHS Advisory Committee including District 4 Commissioner Lynette Maas, District 3 Commissioner Jodi Olson, and District 3 Commissioner 3 Marcia Anderson.

HHS Director Sarah Pratt addressed Public Health issues happening in the Lawler area.

She also mentioned the renewal of a Suicide Prevention grant that will be enacted this summer.

In the coming weeks, details on the next steps for MNChoices will be available.

MNChoices determines eligibility for extra support in different physical and mental conditions.

HHS Financial Assistance Supervisor Jessi Goble gave a presentation on the numerous Financial Services Programs offered by Aitkin County HHS.

Aitkin County HHS will meet with the Board of Commissioners on April 25th at 9am in the Government Center Board Room.
