Aitkin County Sheriff Guida recognizes employees, chats analyst opening in monthly update

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida took a moment to recognize a pair of hard working members of the Department and opened the chance to join the team with our most recent conversation.

Sheriff Guida noted during a special recognition gathering at the January 25th Aitkin County Board of Commissioners, the retirement of K9 Loki was made official.

For the Sheriff’s Office, the K9 have already been on the streets for over 6 months.

Special Investigator Steve Cook at the Board meeting was also recognized for receiving a statewide honor.

Outside of some help at the Aitkin County Jail, Sheriff Guida is looking to add a couple people to the team.
