(Aitkin, MN) — Progress is coming to some bigger projects to the City of Aitkin after our most recent conversation with Mayor Megan Workman.
Further talks and movement going ahead at the future designs and plans for the City Park Warming House/Community Room are seeing bigger strides.
Updates and clarification on a couple longstanding city ordinances have also been cleared up concerning disposal of animal waste and the differences in an auto repair shop and tow yard.
At a recent City Council meeting, Mayor Workman noted of the plans for the Fourth of July Fireworks display that will be returning to the Aitkin County Fairgrounds after being held on Bunker Hill Drive in 2021.
