Aitkin Police Chief Paul Ryan talks parking, citations this winter

(Aitkin, MN) — Parking on Aitkin City Streets from the Police Department’s perspective has kept them really active for unfortunate reasons but keeping the roads cleared this winter has been troubling.

Aitkin Police Chief Paul Ryan says that citations have been up this winter and noted of the current parking restrictions.

Current restrictions can be found on www.ci.aitkin.mn.us and can be found elsewhere.

And there are plenty of free parking options in City limits.

Chief Ryan also spoke about the ramifications if you don’t move your vehicle when the snow plows are supposed to move snow.
