The recent heavy snows have made the roads challenging, not least because of cars parked in snow routes. Aitkin Police Chief Paul Ryan explained that they empathize but:
They will ticket or tow vehicles still in the way after 1”of snow or more. Some roads are narrow sheet of ice in places thanks to the heavy snows and cars left in the way. Those streets may not be completely cleared until spring. The cars that are stubbornly staying put may be in for a rude awakening:
