Brainerd Mayor Bedeaux recaps first City Council meeting of 2023

Brainerd had their first city council meeting in 2023 on Tuesday evening, January 3rd.  Brainerd Mayor, Dave Badeaux explained that one of the first things accomplished on the agenda was the election of their officers and key senior leadership positions.

Mayor Badeaux is looking forward to working with the dynamic of their current and newer members.

According to Brainerd Mayor, Dave Badeaux, a featured hot topic at the Brainerd City Council meeting Tuesday evening, January 3rd, was the first reading of the proposed ordinance for the restriction on demolition and removal of dwelling units.

Mayor Badeaux and the city council members are taking more time to further address this issue.

The next Brainerd city council meeting is scheduled for January 17th at 7:30 PM
