Aitkin School Board meeting from Monday, May 16th

The Aitkin School Board held their regular meeting for the month of May.Aitkin Superintendent Dan Stifter spoke before the Board on adding 2 Teacher Workshop Days for the 2022-23 School Calendar.

The Board did move to approve the addition of 2 Workshop Days. Superintendent Stifter also touched on the plans for an outdoor graduation ceremony.

Discussions were also held for the District supporting updates to Woock Field after another rough spring for Aitkin’s Baseball Field.

Superintendent Dan Stifter did also address concerns for updating work on the Football fields, Tennis Courts, Rippleside playground, and the possibility of fundraising.
