Aitkin School Board Work Session Meeting from April 11th

(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin School Board Work Session meeting laid out a draft for Strategic Planning with focuses on principles, beliefs and values, which took place in the High School Media Center on Monday, April 11th.

 Superintendent Dan Stifter presented the past Strategic Plan from 2018 to the Board and the results of a survey that was sent to the community.

After the Board voiced their thoughts on goals for the Strategic Plan, Stifter laid out a loose timeline for the Strategic Plan from the start to its implementation.

The Board also reviewed their values of “The Whole Student, Fostering Independence, Collaboration, Safe & Caring Environment, Continuous, High Standards/Expectations, Technology”. A recording of the Aitkin School Board Work Session from Monday, April 11th is available with this story:
