Aitkin Schools wrap up summer activities, ready for 2022-23 school year

(Aitkin, MN) — Entering a brand new school year and wrapping up summer activities focused much of the conversation with Aitkin Public Schools Superintendent Dan Stifter. 

Superintendent Stifter did mention the summer was quieter with remodeling compared to recent years.

Even as the school year is about to begin, Aitkin Schools are still in search of adding a few staff members. 

Aitkin High School will be host venue for one of the ‘My Ascension’ suicide prevention event on September 12-13 for high school students and the community.

Aitkin Schools will also be hosting a career fair near the end of September.
