American Sugarbeet Growers Association VP Talks Upcoming Farm Bill

Washington, D.C. — With thin margins between Democrats and Republican in the United State House of Representatives and Senate, what does that mean for the upcoming farm bill? Neil Rockstad of Ada, Vice President of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association, has been visiting with legislators this week as part of the ASGA’s Annual Meeting. He hopes that politics can stay out of the usually bipartisan farm bill.

Rockstad adds that food security will be a big emphasis in the new farm bill.
