Anderson Family Funeral Home Hosting Holiday Hope Open House
Mahnomen, MN — The Anderson Family Funeral Home in Mahnomen and Twin Valley is hosting a Holiday Hope Open House at each location this next week. Everyone is welcome to stop in and enjoy refreshments while gathering information on simple, creative, and empowering ways to manage the holiday season when you are missing someone you love, according to Anderson Family Funeral Home owner Kelly Woltjer.
Woltjer adds that the first holiday without that loved is typically the most difficult because of the uncertainty of never having been through it before.
But there are healthy and helpful ways to keep someone who’s passed a part of your holiday tradition. Woltjer recommends simple acts such as doing something in memory of them or perhaps creating a special ornament.
The Holiday Hope Open Houses will be held from 4-7pm on Sunday, December 4th at the funeral home in Mahnomen and from 4-7pm on Wednesday, December 7th at the funeral home in Twin Valley.
