Bagley School makes large strides in school safety
Earlier this school year, school safety was a major talking point at the Bagley School District, and it led to them implementing a number of new programs and policy changes. R&J News recently had the chance to catch up with Bagley School Resource Officer Clarence Lacroix, who talks more about the measures they’ve made to address school safety.
Clearwater County Sheriff Darin Halverson as well as Lacroix says feedback from students and the community have been positive, especially when it comes to the ALICE program.
As for what needs to happen now, Lacroix says the Bagley School Board will have to implement some new policies over the summer, and staff will have to go through training.
You can learn more about Alice by contacting your local law enforcement office, or going to the official ALICE website www.alicetraining.com.
