Big Weekend Ahead for Ada Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival
Ada, MN — The Ada Chamber of Commerce’s Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival will be in full swing this Saturday with events all day long and two chances to see Santa! There will also be lots of opportunities to do some shopping, including opportunities for the kids to shop for mom and dad as well. Lee Ann Hall with the Ada Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the Huge Craft Show and Shopping with Santa’s Elves at the school.
If you’re looking to visit with Santa, you can do so between 10am and Noon at the Ada Events Center and again from 5pm to 6:45pm at the Nelson house. Donations of food shelf items, toys, and cash will be accepted at the Nelson house by the Ada Fire Department and Ada Future Leaders and children who do donate will be entered for a chance to win a Kayak!
The Ada-Borup-West School Theatre will also have three performances of their Adam’s Family Musical this week, including Saturday at 3pm and 7pm and Sunday at Noon. Kids who attend the 3pm Saturday show will get in for free courtesy of the Ada Lions and Ada VFW Auxiliary.
Hall thanks the many generous sponsors and supporters who help make this year’s Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival possible.
And Halls adds that this weekend’s event is a good opportunity to get together and have some fun before everyone gets too busy around the holiday.
Other events included in this weekend’s Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival include the Women’s Christmas Craft Night at Jevnaker Church and Christmas Party on the Prairie tonight, Festival of Trees, Norman County Vintage Snowmobile Show, and more.
