Body Found In Rural Cass Lake

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says they are actively investigating the death of a person in rural Cass Lake. The individual’s body was found in a local resident’s yard at around 8am on Sunday morning.

The body was discovered in a yard in the area of John Moose Drive NW in Pike Bay Township, the deceased was a male. An autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The investigation is still ongoing. Cass County Sheriff Bryan Welk says additional information will be released when details are known.
