Derek Olson, Market President for Border Bank in International Falls and Baudette, announced Erin and Ashley Hall, owners of Evolve U Fitness, will be relocating their fitness facility to the spacious lower level in Border Bank. Evolve U Fitness was housed in the former International Discount Liquor building. The move will result in a greater amount of space for the gym and studio, along with a locker room, and large restrooms. Up North Builders is overseeing the refinishing project.

“The building is beautiful, with expansive unfinished space that should be utilized. When I heard the building Erin and Ashley were renting was going to be sold, our team stepped up to see how we could assist them with relocating to the bank. It seemed like a natural fit – they offer physical fitness, and we offer financial fitness,” said Kris Lassila, Business Officer at the International Falls bank.

“We are looking forward to operating in the new location; we’ll have more space that will be fresh and modern, great parking, and the lower level will be easily accessed through the bank’s main entry way elevator or staircase. We know our members will love it,” said Erin Hall, co-owner of Evolve U Fitness.

Evolve U Fitness is projected to open its new location in early May. “We will be hosting an open house once we are established and look forward to celebrating with the community,” said Ashley Hall, coowner of Evolve U Fitness.

“The bank is an ideal location for Evolve U Fitness, and we are proud to have them as a tenant. We also have additional unfinished space upstairs we will consider finishing for a compatible tenant,” said Olson.

Border Bank was established in 1935 in Northwest Minnesota and has ten branches, located in: International Falls, Coon Rapids, Greenbush, Thief River Falls, Middle River, Badger, Roseau, Baudette,
Clearbrook, Fargo, with a second location in Fargo opening this spring.
