Broncos Girls Hockey Win Senior Night 5-3

In International Falls, the Broncos Girls Hockey team held their senior night Friday Night against Prairie Centre. They would indeed celebrate Senior Night with a victory over the Blue Devils 5-3 with each Senior playing a part in the victory.

After both teams scored a goal in the first period, the Broncos goal came from Addison Brown who was assisted by Senior Brenna Crosby. The two teams would remain 1-1 for a majority of the first period and the entirety of the second period. Until the Broncos would explode in the 3rd period where the Broncos scored 2 goals to jump up 3-1. Tirzah Carradice would open the 3rd period scoring with an assist from fellow Senior Lola Wade. Kjersti Hansen scored the next goal with an assist from Tenley Thompson and Senior Kylynn Wallace. Prairie Centre would answer with their own goal to bring it within one again, then Tirzah Carradice would score an unassisted gamewinner followed by Adrienne Sheasby’s own unassisted goal, and Prairie Centre could only muster one more goal to end the game 5-3.

The Broncos girls play again tomorrow night in the IFK Arena to take on the Muskies Girls for the final Border Battle of 2024-2025 season.
